Over the last 6months I’ve had a fair few live gigs. I think the best of those gigs would have to have been the first ones. I find that the more gigs I get the more sick of my own music I get.
This has been a good thing and a bad thing. It’s a good thing because I get to play my own tunes out, get to see a crowds response, get to practice new live techniques.
I have found that it is bad because you play the same music all the time, some people just don’t understand and respect what your doing and think of you as a normal dj, it’s harder to please the crowd than playing a normal dj set with the freedom that a dj has with track selection to suit the crowd.
So, playing live isn’t easy. You have to hope that the audience is up for the type of music that you make at the time that you play, or just pray that everybodys so fucked it doesn’t matter what the hell you play…
So it has made me broaden my style some more and try new styles in the way that I know how to make tunes.
It’s motivated me to try new things.

Im very excited to announce that Ill be playing my very first live set @ Room680 on the friday the 31st of October. Ive been busy setting my live set up and its been a very painful boring but different experience so far. I cant wait its going to be awesome.
